RelFinder, a new Adobe Flex-based application, has been announced by a collection of researchers from the University of Stuttgart, the Carlos III University of Madrid and the University of Duisburg-Essen. Additional contributions have been made by individuals from the University of Leipzig and AKSW.

The application can be configured to point to arbitrary RDF datasets exposed through a SPARQL endpoint, but uses several standard data sets out of the box. The default sources include:

David Wood, Zepheira Persistent URLs (PURLs) have operated on the Internet since 1995, and were re-architected and described at SemTech in 2008. Part of the re-architecture was to add semantic capabilities to PURLs so that metadata descriptions of a resource may be computationally separated from resources themselves. The Open Source community at maintains and extends the PURL code base.

Using the domain models for data validation, transformation and other application specific reasoning typically requires expressivity of rule languages.
