But now, with the inclusion of RDF in Drupal core, anyone who understands the basics of the RDF data model can create a Web 3.0 site in a few hours.nDrupal is an open source Content Management System currently powering more than 200,000 sites. It is well known for its flexibility and is used to power every kind of site from intranets and community portals to social networking sites to e-commerce applications. Starting with the release of Drupal 7 earlier this year, every new Drupal site is by default RDF-enabled with its content exposed as RDFa (RDF in HTML attributes) using well-known vocabularies such as FOAF, SIOC, SKOC, etc.nThis hands-on tutorial will show you how Drupal’s RDF functionality work and how to extend it to connect your information to the Web of Data, and in particular to the Linking Open Data cloud. The following topics will be covered:nnWe assume that the audience will have some basic knowledge of the Semantic Web, especially RDFa and Linked Data. We will however start the tutorial with a few slides introducing the topic.
